Here’s an overview of our professional packaging process for long POM rods:
We start by creating custom plywood pallets or crates that match the exact dimensions of the products. For 3-meter rods, we build pallets precisely 3000mm long. This custom fit minimizes movement during transit and protects the rods from bending or impact. Similarly, sheets or other products are packed on pallets sized specifically to their dimensions.
Next, we tightly bundle several POM rods together using durable nylon ropes. This bundling method keeps the rods secure and easier to handle while preventing them from shifting inside the pallet.
To maximize protection and reduce movement, we adjust the height of each pallet to fit the stacked rods perfectly. This ensures the rods remain firmly in place and lowers the risk of damage caused by excessive space inside the packaging.
Each POM rod’s diameter is carefully sealed and labeled. This step not only protects the rod ends from dirt and moisture but also allows for quick diameter verification and helps customers easily count and manage inventory.
Finally, we firmly secure each pallet with at least 13 high-strength PET straps. The entire pallet is then wrapped with a protective black PE film to shield the rods from dust, moisture, and scratches during handling and shipment.
